Andrey Filatov Net Worth: Andrey Filatov is a Russian entrepreneur who has a net worth of $1.2 billion. He is best known as the co-owner of the rail and port operator N-Trans, which he co-founded with billionaires Konstantin Nikolaev and Nikita Mishin, Board Member and Chief Executive Officer.
The trio’s fortunes increased significantly after listing Global Ports Investment Corporation, one of Russia’s largest port operators, for $500 million in 2011. A year later, they sold a 37.5 percent stake in Global Ports to a subsidiary of Danish shipping giant AP Moller-Maersk for $863 million. Born in Ukraine on December 18, 1971, he holds a degree in sports coaching. He is also a chess coach and has taught chess at the Belarusian Institute of Physical Education. Before working with Nikolaev and Mishin, Andrei Filatov was involved in the port of Murmansk. The three partners founded their first shipping company, Severstaltrans, in 1996.
