Amy Carlson is an American television and film actress. She played “Linda Reagan” on the CBS series Blue Bloods and “Alex Taylor” on NBC’s Third Watch. Her film credits include Anamorph (2007), Hits (2014) and Green Lantern (2011). Amy Lynn Carlson was born on July 7, 1968 in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Her parents, Robert and Barbara, teach at the American Community School in Amman, Jordan. She has three siblings, Betsy, Lori and Joseph. Carlson attended Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, where she was actively involved in the school’s theater program. She graduated summa cum laude with a BA in East Asian History.
