Alfonso Yuchengco Net Worth: Alfonso Yuchengco was a prominent Filipino businessman, CPA, FEU alumnus, educator and diplomat who passed away in 2017 with a net worth of $705 million. Alfonso Yuchengco leads the Yuchengco Group of Companies, one of the largest family-owned business groups in the Philippines.
He is the Chairman of Rizal Commercial Bank Corporation, one of the largest commercial banks in the Philippines, and the Mapua Institute of Technology, the country’s leading engineering school. Yuchengco was previously Chairman of the Yuchengco Group of Companies and Chairman of the Board of MICO Equities, Inc. (the holding company of the Malayan Insurance Group); Pan Malayan Management Investment Corporation; Mapua Institute of Technology; Nippon Life Insurance Company; and Rizal Commercial Bank Corporation. Yuchengco holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in Accounting from Far Eastern University. He passed the Philippine CPA Licensure Exam. Yuchengco established the Yuchengco East Asia Center at La Salle University in 1994 to enhance awareness and understanding of the Philippines’ neighbors in Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia. Through his AY Foundation, he has initiated many programs aimed at benefiting underprivileged communities. Alfonso Yuchengco passed away on April 15, 2017 at the age of 94.
