Alex Jones is an American radio host, film producer, writer and conspiracy theorist. He currently hosts the Alex Jones show at Genesis Communications Network. His film works include Loose Change (2007), Endgame (2007) and Obama’s Deception (2009). He is also the head of the “InfoWars” website and media platform. Alexander Emerick Jones was born on February 11, 1974 in Dallas, Texas. His father David is a dentist and his mother Carol is a housewife. He spent his childhood between Rockwall and Austin, Texas. Jones attended Anderson High School, where he played football as a winger. He studied at Austin Community College, but dropped out before completing his degree.

Jones started his career at Austin Public Access Television in Austin, Texas. He switched to radio in 1996 and became the host of the “Final Edition” on KJFK-FM. Ron Paul, the politician at the time, was a frequent guest on the show. Jones was fired by KJFK in 1999. This led him to start online broadcasting and joint organizations. Jones currently hosts “The Alex Jones Show” on Genesis Communications Network (GCN). The show is broadcast to more than 90 radio stations across the United States. According to the 2010 Texas Monthly Briefing, the show attracts more than 2 million listeners every week. Jones is a gun rights advocate. In a debate with Pierce Morgan in 2013, he famously declared that “If you try to take our guns, 1776 will start again.”
Jones’ first documentary “America Destroyed by Design” was released in 1998. Other movies in his catalog include Horror Storm: A History of Government Funding of Terrorism (2006), Endgame: A Blueprint for Global Enslavement (2007), and Obama’s Deception: The Mask Shedding (2009). He is the executive producer of Dylan Avery’s film series Loose Changes (2005-09). Jones played small roles in the movie “Awakened Life” (2001) starring Willie Wiggins and Keanu Reeves’ “Dark Scanner” (2006). He is the subject of the documentary “The New World Order” (2009) directed by Luke Meyer and Andrew Neel.
Jones is the owner of the “InfoWars” website. Over the years, his guests have included Charlie Sheen and Donald Trump. He is also the head of “NewsWars” and “PrisonPlanet”. The “InfoWars” YouTube channel was deleted in August 2018. Apple and Facebook also deleted content related to InfoWars. Jones is the author of 9-11: Falling into Tyranny (2002) and the answer to 1984 is 1776 (2008). He is currently working with Neil Strauss to write a new book titled “The Secret History of the Modern World and Future War”.
