In 1963, Al assisted his father Victor Adamson in directing, producing and starring in the film Halfway to Hell. In 1966, Adamson and Sam Sherman founded Independent International Pictures. Adamson was reported missing in 1995, and his body was found five weeks later. Al Adamson officially died on June 21, 1995, at the age of 65.
