In 1963, Al assisted his father Victor Adamson in directing, producing and starring in the film Halfway to Hell. In 1966, Adamson and Sam Sherman founded Independent International Pictures. Adamson has also directed or produced the films Psycho a Go-Go, Blood in Dracula’s Castle, Five Bloody Graves, Smashing the Criminal Squad, The Horror of Bloody Monsters, Blood Brain, Dracula and Frankenstein, Dynamite Brothers, Despicable Mother, Naughty Stewardess, Black Fever, Uncle Tom’s Cabin, Darth Vader, Cinderella 2000, Sunset Bay, Dead Dimension, Nurse Shirley, Carnival Magic, Lost. Adamson was reported missing in 1995, and his body was found five weeks later. Al Adamson officially died on June 21, 1995, at the age of 65. His murders have been documented in the TV series “Forensic Detective,” “The New Detective,” and “Stranger Things in My House.”
