He later performed as a solo artist, achieving 10 UK Top Ten Hits 1980-1983 and three number 1s. He enjoys a high reputation in the United States, and was even named the sexiest man in the United States by MTV viewers. In addition to music, Adam Ant also acted as an actor, appearing in more than two dozen movies and TV episodes from 1985 to 2003.
