Ace Hardy is a Jamaican-American artist, writer and entrepreneur. Ace was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, named “Carl Hardy”. Ace’s surname was later changed to Thomas Jr. at the age of 4. He graduated from Philadelphia German High School, which was permanently closed in June 2013. Ace then received a college degree from Philadelphia Community College and Drexel University. During his college years, Ace will work with artists, actors and models through talent management and audio engineering and film production. After graduation, he decided to pursue his career by launching his inspirational brand “BossModeLifestyle”.

Ace started modeling, writing poems and motivational speeches. He has been composing music, poetry and painting since he was 10 years old. In mid-2017, he decided to transform his talents into a full-time business to share his talents. Ace can only move from house to house to find a stable home, but he can never do it. His younger brother and sister spent their entire childhood with their father. Ace reunited with his mother after escaping from his father at the age of 16.

Ace’s music style has been influenced by his cultural growth, combining ballroom/hip-hop/rap/African rhythm and pop music. Ace’s father is a Jamaican from the Spanish town of JA, and his mother is of Native American descent from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a child, whenever his parents played ballroom/reggae music, Ace would sing and dance with it. Growing up around Jamaicans and Americans is what helped him develop his musical style. Ace is also a big fan and supporter of the late Tupac Shakur. Tupac played an important role in Ace’s life through his methods of motivation and inspiration. Ace believes that by leading those who need his help and becoming a productive member of society, it is right to continue the cycle and do the same for this generation and the next.
