The current lineup also includes Young Buck and Kidd Kidd. From 2003 to 2005, The Game played with the band. 50 Cent was mentored by Jam Master Jay (Run-DMC) early in his career. This led to the signing of a recording contract with Columbia Records. His first project in Colombia, Power of the Dollar, was not released. Because the shooting left him with nine bullet holes, the album was shelved. 50 Cent returns to the music scene with the compilation “Guess Who’s Back?” (2002). It is certified as 5 times platinum by RIAA. 50 Cent’s third album, Curtis (2007), pales in comparison with his first two albums, but its global sales still exceed 3 million copies. It features cameos by Akon, Robin Thicke, Mary J. Blige and others. His most recent projects include “Before I Destruct Myself” (2009), “Animal Ambition” (2014) and the upcoming “Street King Immortal” (2018). 50 Cent’s collaboration with G-Unit includes Beg for Mercy (2003) and T·O·S (Terminate on Sight) (2008).
